Waxwing Wellness draws its approaches from peer reviewed scientific literature and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health so that you can feel confident that our services are informed by scientific data.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and determine if my services are a good fit for you. If you are a current client, you can schedule an appointment by clicking the "Client Portal" button on the website. In the client portal, you can request any available appointment times.

Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?Yes, I offer confidential virtual therapy sessions via a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform for clients in the state of Pennsylvania who are unable to attend in person. This allows for flexibility and convenience while ensuring you receive the support you need.

What is intensive couples therapy, and how does it differ from regular couples therapy?Intensive couples retreats are an immersive experience that condenses 4-6 months of therapy into two 8-hour days. This approach allows for deep, focused work on relationship issues and is ideal for couples looking to make significant progress in a short period.

How often should I attend therapy sessions?The frequency of therapy sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Many clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others may attend bi-weekly or monthly. We'll discuss and determine the best schedule for you during our initial sessions.

In any case, my goal is for therapy to, simply, be a fond memory in your past as you go on to live your full and satisfying life.

Do you accept insurance?In addition to offering Private Pay Services, I am currently credentialed with a few Commercial Health Insurers including: -Highmark -Blue Cross -Blue Shield As the Member, it is your responsibility to contact your Health Insurer to determine your “Patient Responsibility” for care (i.e. your co-pay, deductible, or out-of-pocket expenses).
